At this stage I'm assuming nothing is happening this week. If someone does want to organise something then can it be in the morning so I can prepare before I leave for work.

Also good luck for tomorrow Rod. Hope everything goes well. Fingers crossed and all that. I still plan on visiting, unfortunately very time poor. I am thinking about you though.

So that was an interesting way to end the night...

For those not there, my car wouldn't start as we were about to leave. A big thank you to John for being so helpful in trying to diagnose the issue. It would turn but not fire.

In the end i called the RACV and inevitably signed up. After Ben and i waited for an hour or so, the guy turned up, looked at the car, turned the key... On.

He seems to think that i some how flooded the system when initially starting it. According to him, turning the key on a car with EFI is like pumping the Throttle on a Carby dríven car. It drove normally all the way home, then once i parked, tried turning it on and off a few times. No issues at all.

I'll still get it checked, but i don't think it's going to be a problem.

Time for bed i think.

Thanks again guys.
