Where to buy replacement guide wheel?
It's the round things attached to the windows that sit in the runners and guide them as they go up and down (not the stops). Mine perished while I was taking the windows out to clean the runners. Anyone know where to buy these from so I can use my windows again?

Can't find any on Rspeed but these Teflon ones sound good, I'll look into it. Cheers.

Re: Where to buy replacement guide wheel?
Checked there as well with no luck. However I've managed to get into contact with the seller on miata.net and he can ship me a full kit for $75USD in total. It's a bit pricey because of the insured postage but they seem to be a lot better quality than OEM and I can't seem to find them anywhere else so I'll be getting these ones. Thanks for your help guys.

Re: Where to buy replacement guide wheel?
if you are driving an MX5 then try Mazda spare parts or a wrecker. Some components are not serviced and one may have to buy a sub assy. I have not had the mechanism out but someone mentioned delrin so it would not have perished - rubber perishes not plastic which simply deteriorates with age i.e. becoming brittle. The OEM products will in all likelihood be excellent quality- i.e. moulded from virgin material and against a spec but products deteriorate with age and use- thats normal.

I believe the wheels are Nylon.
So while they don't really perish etc, they do wear down until the tolerances are too great to function properly (or the bearing siezes and they stop rolling, which makes them wear a flat on one side)
The same as the bottom gear selector bush, it lasts forever, but does over time wear down, increasing the tolerances.
