Couldn't find it on their Mania eBay store so I rang them and you are correct as they are $69.95 incl. postage.

You would think they would update their website regularly as they are still showing $157 odd there (over double) and that would put people off. They are $150 at Supercheap Auto, $110 at Auto One and any old price from Mazda dealers.....hell of a difference to $69.95......

I understand the reason for not updating is that prices and product lines change too often for them to update (it's basically just Ajay doing it) on top of the rest of his job. It's not doing them any favours though so they should just strip all the parts prices off the website and say call or check ebay.

Could a faulty Cam Angle Sensor stop the fuel pump from working?
I have no spark or fuel but turns over fine.
Can someone tell me where the fuel pump relay/control is?

I don't think it would have anything to do with the CAS. No spark or fuel seems more like an ECU problem but there are smarter guys than me on this forum and I am sure you will get some good advice re diagnostics etc.

I'm not sure the CAS is your problem, but if you want to replace it this is as cheap as you'll find it:

Just be aware they're currently moving locations (and building the new one) so the response time may be delayed.

Location of NB8A (08/2000) fuel pump relay, if in the same position as the NA8, will be under the dash on the driver's side.

The most common items that cause engine issues on the NB8A (08/2000) are: spark plug leads; coilpack; EGI relay (the big usually green fuel injection relay located in the engine bay main fuse box); cam position sensor (aka CAS); & crank position sensor.

Still no spark or fuel.
Still cranks fine but nothing else.
Any help to locate and test things would be greatly appreciated.
New crank sensor. :(
New Coils. :(
Now :?:
How do I test that the ECU is powered.
I have clicking under the RHS Dash.
Security system maybe immobilised?

Could be anything. You need to get someone with a diagnostic tool to check out the fault codes, perhaps the NRMA or RACV if you are a member or possibly another club member near you that has this gear & can operate it otherwise you could spend a fortune replacing things that are not needed.

If you can't get one quickly enough then there are a couple of things you can try to get a bit more life out of the old one (cleaning-up), or implement an temporary work around:

If you are in RACV etc you probably have a free tow. Unless you are full bottle - very few are- then get it checked and repaired by a pro. Just replacing bit and pieces is a hit and miss routine which can also be expensive. All people can do is give a list of possible items and the Mazda repair manual does the same thing.
