Good deal on tyres

Postby Caffeine » Mon Mar 10, 2014 11:50 am

Bridgestone is running a 'buy 3 get 4' promo at the moment, so I've got my car booked in to get four 205/45-16 RE002's and a wheel alignment for at total of $561!

Yes, that is a good deal. The bobjane catalogue had a couple of difft deals but that was the best ($50/$100 fuel card, etc).

Yep, I got new tyres 2 weeks ago at my local Kmart and the prices automatically dropped from $166 to $145 each for 205/50/15 RE002s.
$580 total. They didn't even know about it - automatically changed on checkout.

Where did you purchase your tyres from? Do they do alignments to given specs or just factory settings?

Bridgestone Tyre Centre at Castle Hill. Had the alignment done to factory specs.

i also got a set of re002s (195/50) a few weeks back. so far im really happy with them. they do exactly what youd expect from a high performance STREET tyre. they seem to lose grip after a hard run but once again thats expected from street tyres. id recommend them to anyone who wants a fast tyre with a treadwear rating over 220

i might give the re-11 a try next time if i can chase them down

I love them. I had them on my old wheels too. They were a little worn so I got brand new ones fitted to my RPF1's. I track my car with these tires too. They go pretty damn good on the track since they arent a track tire only a high performance street tire. Nice and quiet for daily driving too, provide lots of grip for fun drives through the hills, good wear rating.
