SE fitting boost gauge

Postby WASP » Mon Mar 10, 2014 2:29 pm

Hi I am going to fit a boost gauge to my SE, a naïve question, what is the best way to fit the hose through the firewall and into the cab. I am loath to start drilling.
Cheers
Steven

In the engine bay, if you look below the black brake booster housing (on the driver side firewall), you'll see a rubber grommit with some wiring going into it. You can push the vacuum hose through that, no drilling required.
Don't worry about dying, worry about not living!
