On the SE there is a little white pill restricter in the 5mm hose that goes from the throttle body elbow to the boost controller/sensor thingy.
What is it's purpose?
Would using the usual 2mm id vacuum silicone hose with an adaptor/reducer to 5mm id hose to connect to the tee piece negate the need for this little pill thing or is there more too it?
Purpose of white pill(?) in boost signal line

Never seen one of these, but I'm assuming its function is to minimise/reduce spikes and basically smooth out the signal.
When results speak for themselves - don't interrupt.

Re: Purpose of white pill(?) in boost signal line
That would make sense.
Im looking at possibly replacing the whole line that it is in from the factory 5mm internal hose to the standard 2mm but don't want to mess anything up if this restriction is removed. I doubt it would fit in the 2mm hose. Or if the 2mm hose in itself would create the restriction this pill is making.
