I believe so.
I may end up boosting once those pesky green plates are gone.
I cannot believe how easy it is to gain power with boost, compared to N/A. Shame it's really really really hard to hide.

It is hidden and no police officer is going to go pulling your vehicle apart using sockets or spanners to see whether you have a factory one or not. If you do get a request to head down to the inspection station you swap out your PNP ECU and stick the factory one back in. Even the factory ECU would run the car albeit not very well.
Would have to be pretty unlucky to get followed to the inspection station and even if it failed just shrug your shoulders and mumble that you don't know what wrong. Then get it fixed.
Don't know how things work in Vic though. Are you on your P plates or a "known" vehicle?

Exhaust, arc intake chamber, Dan Brown cai and cams have pushed performance up enough to keep a stock gt86 (and a ae86 with silvertop and itbs) at bay.

No offence but I think there is something wrong with that silver top. It has a full 20% extra power from the factory and it's not like an 86 is heavy.

Also no offence but it's nothing special to be able to keep up with a stock gt86 either. I own one. :-) They may be fun but they are not particularly quick.
