A little more prep tonight - coffee and a burger at BP South then a nice 110kph run halfway up the Bruce with the roof down and behaving myself, not like the fool in the Camry who flew past me with a white Commodore with blue/white chequered markings right up his exhaust pipe!! Nice disco light show as I drove past [without waving!!]

No coffee for me tomorrow Roger. I will be in Burpengary in the afternoon. Darling Down club run Sunday (with Kev05), then get home put the wing on, wash the car, load on trailer, get sick Monday so I can't go to work, leave Coomera around 0930 for Lakeside :)

It will be good to see how the FZ201's go.

All good Mark, I set my 'out of Office' this afternoon and my Manager rang me from the Gold Coast and said 'what's happening Monday?' She hadn't updated her calendar! She actually lives in NSW and travels every day but has the occasional day in one of our Gold then takes Coast offices

I will still go, have to run the fuel tank down to around 1/2 for Monday. It was that humid this afternoon I was going to tie 2 x 'Big Jims' onto the front of the mower and do the lawns after 10pm tonight, thought better and did them 6pm

I'm ready!!

Just NO coffee on the way tomorrow, I'm not 100% and blame the milk from yesterday mornings coffee I bought - happens

Forecast is looking good so far, storms were forecast but now that seems to have been pushed back a couple of days, Wednesday Bureau suggests possibly more than 100mm for the SE corner of the State - we need that!!

Car did over 400 k today on the Darlings Down club run (great lunch and good value). FZ201's and wing installed, car washed, data cards for video formatted and overlay loaded. I'll load the car tomorrow morning and start the drive at about 0930.

Cya there Roger.

Hmmm .. OK, I'll strap a damn Ibis to the rear for a wing and grab the sim cards from my phone for the data - that should work!

See you there Magpie!

Fantastic day, great attendance as well considering how hot it was

Good to see Todd Herring trail his MX5 up from Forster NSW and also Mike Jones bring his 86 along. Mike is totally stoked at how well the car performed, he had never been on a track before and managed a 1:09.93 same lap as I did my best for the day of 1:09.92

Thanks to Brian, Neil & John plus Doug, QR Neil and all the QR Staff for a great day!!

Pretty good afternoon all things considered, shame about the heat for the first 2 hours slowing everything down. Not all fun and games for everyone either, Callum only turned 7 laps before dropping oil, got it towed away. Paul's GT3 is looking a little worse for wear too, didn't look like too much damage but any damage is more than you want. Third lap of the second session, didn't see it happen but saw it parked against the tyres after Hungry corner about 5sec later.

Great day and thanks to everybody who made Jaye (a 6 year old who asks heaps of questions) welcome.

I helped Mike with his tyre pressures and set them at 31 hot (R888's) they were about 38 hot and he was amazed at how much different they were and he proved it by doing his fastest lap!

I'm wrapped at my times and next time wing will be back to zero AOA. By the way MattR the booster is staying, at least for the moment.

He's absolutely stoked at it's performance on his first day out - great times for a first timer on the tarmac - he got a great buy with that car
