Exhaust problems

Postby johnnyreble » Fri Feb 14, 2014 11:55 am

Spent last week or so Dyno tuning my supercharged NA, max we could get was 140rwhp which we knew was off the mark, we decided that there was a restriction somewhere so took off the cat back system and immediately got an extra 40 hp, so am now getting a muffler made for it so I can track it this weekend and will retune it next week

moral of the story ... don't buy cheap catback off ebay .. mine had only done 10,000 ks and was all blocked up. we haven't pulled it apart yet to see what's going on with it .. anyone else had this problem ?

Massive difference! Glad you've found those lost killerwasps. What headers are you running?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I'm running a stock exhaust on my turbo and it's pretty slow haha. Just a temp measure to get the car driving until I finish making my new one so I'll reply when I change.

Just to chime in as I've done my exhaust. It made an absolutely massive difference on my turbo over stock. Night and day.
