Have a Look at International Tire Traders... http://www.tyretrader.com.au/index.php? ... rt=pd.name

KU31 (195/50/15) $68 + freight + fitting
KU31 (2015/50/15) $94 + freight + fitting

Last tyres I bought from them I had them fitted & balanced for $25 a wheel in Sydney.

I thought 'Ruby' the red NB was sold so I assume it's the BRZ

Tyres for that would be 215-45-17 but I think on the BRZ he had 'aftermarket' wheels and not sure what size

I'm using the RE002 and it is a great street tyre both wet and dry. I haven't used them on the track.

You could always pick up my set of wheels and tyres for track use! :P

Hey Tim, the rsr came with the these wheels but before that I had the re001 and before that the grandfather ( grid III). So I suspect I'd be pretty happy but they are almost the price of the top tires from the states!

Aren't your rims and tires 17"? Ain't nobody got no time for that :D

I was thought about getting the 6uls that recently came up but I was having a crisis of faith on continued ownership with my collapsed springs. Check the current tires 2 days later and was kicking myself.

Thanks snow, I'll check them out.

I recently did my tires at TyrePower at Slacks Creek along M1.

They can get KU31, 36 and 39 on the day. They offer the Toyo R1R also.
All at a very good prices cheaper than the shipped ebay prices when I checked. Also with free fitting/balancing, I eventually went to them over the Ebay seller.

Toyo R1R was quoted at $220 fitted 205/50/15
KU36 at $175 fitted 205/50/15

I got my set of KU39 in 17" and 205 for my SE before for $660 fitted the whole set.

I think it is quite reasonable, as I get them quicker. I can drive my MX5 to them. Not sure how I can drive 4 tyres comfortably to them after my ebay tires arrive.

NB SE-Sold for investment property deposit, then crashed by the buyer months later
Now Black NB SP #31.

Yeah my local kuhmo dealer was in the same ball park, it just seemed like people were getting ku36/re002 level tires for about 140. I'll probably give the Achilles 123 a go
