Exactly that. They get full cages and not much else. The celebs get CAMS certified or don't get to participate. The cars are not for subsequent resale as road cars by the way!

Not one of the cars raced though is it? Is that not one of the stupidly expensive sticker packs? Having carbon wrap put on the roof of my kuroi next week, saw the one at the Adelaide launch and loved it

They haven't raced yet, not sure if they have even started the driver training, that's usually only a week or two before the GP.

Mazda will be doing all the marketing for the new 3 using these as the hero cars to get the punters into the stealership.

I get all that

There is a decal kit available to dealerships to make them look like the celeb cars I was wondering if it was one of those or one of the actual race cars with cage etc?

The former. And it's an auto. Cool though, if you like that kind of thing. Personally I've always done the reverse and have tried to remove any evidence of any of my cars being anything other than stock standard base models.
