Just saw this and it looks like it would be a great set up and handy to home. Just hope it gets the go ahead and actually gets up and running.

we plan to be up an running by the end of the year
 I'll believe it when I see it... All the best to them though. The more venues we can get, the better off we'll be.

Yes they said it would be two weeks months ago.But it has been approved now so it looks like it will actually happen.

I recently had a 6x9 metre garage built in my backyard to house my MX5 when I bought it around this time last year and approval for that from Penrith City Council, the same council Luddenham Raceway have had to deal with took around 4 months so that could explain the delay.

GREAT I am in Penrith too and am about to extend upstairs so have to put plans through council. I thought all this approval stuff was fast tracked a year or two ago. I have a carport that has been extended (slightly) now holds 6 cars but does not have council approval.?????

Just got this mail from CAMS.

http://a.smartmailpro.com/webv/6hpgfy980c

I would say it is happening then since it says you can book from 1st of August 2014.
MX-5 NSW Club days here???
Another local track to me would be great.

Fat f$&@ing chance. Even if they have approval now, the chances of them having the track laid and facilities in order for August is sweet FA.

At least that's my 2 cents, I hope I'm wrong.
