A or B ?

Postby oztrackdays » Wed Jan 15, 2014 9:55 pm

The race has been split into two Races both on the Sunday.

Faster Race Cars Race A

and

Slower Race Cars Race B

which will be more fun for the 5's I wonder ...

thoughts from the people who have run a few ?

That was inevitable - great news for those of us who would have missed out if the 47car limit was the cutoff.

I imagine it will be qualifying based... Which will be interesting, qualifying 95 cars... Wow. Multiple sessions, practice will be fun, especially with the support race meeting taking place the day before. And will they be asking race 1 cars to vacate their pit garages before race 2? Raises a number of questions.

Not fussed how they do it or which race we are in, just want to go drive....

I'm sure there are heaps of things that could make things a bit interesting, what happens if it rains during practice/quali. Then it's dry for the race??

We always hope for rain anyway.

Both races to be run on Sunday, garages allocated according to the order in which entries received. So for those not in pit lane, refueling on the dummy grid. Or...become friendly with someone who has a pit lane spot, and is doing the opposite race to you.

Looks like they have over 90 entries, going to be interesting...at least if we are in the slow race we get home early.

Where do you think the fields will be split?

Guys, on refuelling...

I know manual refuelling is mandatory, but do we have to invest in the hand pump, cutoff handle, etc? Can we just refuel from jerry cans?

We just use a high flow jiggle syphon, works fine.

What in, the quick 300 or the slow 280?

I am joking with that comment btw not meaning to be derogatory. Not sure which one we will end up in, either will be a hoot!

Garage allocations out - looks like we're in B block...
