Make sure you go to the Automotive Plus stand, I believe that Danny's 20B will be there...

A good day, however it was strange having the only natural aspirated 4 cyl car there. The only other NA cars were Danny's rotaries.
I did have the pleasure of following Danny in his 20B Cosmo from Plus to the show, his car was looking a treat inside and out.
Pictures soon.

Went and had a look, pretty good for a first time event!
Magpie, your NA was quite a hit with the punters, I never saw less than 6 people gathered around at any one time, while the LFA, 2 x R8's and racing Lambo barely gained a look.

Thanks Crapweasel. Jason and I thought about putting the NC's supercharger in the big space on the passengers side just to be the 'same' as everbody else.
The noise at closing was unbelievable, especially the true race cars starting up. I think Danny's 20B was the only one that had to be manhandled out

Not a bad little show.
Loved the red Merc with custom luggage
Very impressed how Danny's Nc is coming along.
Magpie your drivers door looks like it needs a little loving.....

This
I was impressed with this, however not sure why the back seat is still there...

Tezzax5 if you are commenting on the mirror, ask my other half about when using a ride on mower and how many rocks can it throw at once The only other dents left to get out are very small ones on the passengers side.
And another person keenly looking over one of Danny's cars:
It got a bit quite around 1700 and then once the dyno comp finished it was all over by about 1845. If it is on again next year hopefully it will be a bit bigger and there will be more non FI cars there, possibly cheaper entry/parking costs. I also think that some of the trade stalls did not show, there was supposed to be a freshly wrapped Radical SR3 on show at the Driving Events / Brett Rogers Motorsport Design trade stand but I did not see it.
There was a mix of people during the day, around 1300 to 1500 it was more the older people (spent a lot of time looking at the rotaries and stopping and asking questions). Then the older ones must have gone home for a nana nap as the crowd started to get much younger and they spent more time at the Downshift area. All in all I think it was a good day, however, I felt that the show was more about bling than innovation or doing things better/differently. Take the 300SL it was a work of art, Danny's Cosmo for a 1992 car it was so far ahead of its time but most people would rather have seen a turbo engine with stretched tyres. One of the funniest sights was the owner of a blue Skyline that kept wiping fingerprints off his car after somebody touched it and a grey car with stretched tyres massive turbo engine and about 6" brake rotors. My car was neat, but not perfect as it is a road registered car that gets used on the track and is not a 'show' car.

It looks like a decent event. I saw some other photos on Boostcruising. Unfortunately I was up in Toowoomba for the swap meet but maybe next year.
