Heads Up:

Flyin' Miata have a new rim for MX5s, the Jongbloed Racing Aero 500.

They'll be available with the NA/NB 4x100 bolt pattern in 15x8, 15x9 and 15x10 sizes.

See http://www.flyinmiata.com/index.php?stocknumber=16-52050

No mention if they fit over BBKs?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

They should fit over most BBKs - they were designed specifically for big HP racing Miatas in the states (hence the 54.1mm bore), and there is a whole thread on these on both the big forum and on mt.net.

949 really need to get their act together with 6ul production. It's all very well to design the most popular lightweight wheel in these sizes, but if you can't keep up with production demand you are opening the door for competitive offerings like this, the Advanti Storm and the Konig Dial In to come and steal your market share. Customers will not wait 6 months for a set of wheels!

I have a set of these and they are much quicker to get than the 6UL's and priced less than 6UL's

Pretty sure they outsource the wheel manufacturing and it seems like the supply problem is out of their hands.

Loads of competition in this wheel sector, Konig Dial in wheels are also flow formed and will be around 12lbs for 15x8, $164 USD each also the Advanti racing storm at 11lbs for 15x7 and flow formed, $149 USD each.

Yep... the 15x8 market is already fairly packed with competitive options but it's the 15x9 and 15x10 markets... The Dial In is not yet on the market (pre order only). Same with the Storm.

Wow Magpie, you move fast, those Jongbloeds have not been out for long :) Did you get a weight on the wheel before having tyres mounted? What size?

I thought they were still on pre-order? Goodwin's site is still saying "prepay for next delivery"... is there someone out there who has some stock?
