Konig are also bringing out their Dial-in 15x9 (13lb range)
Sister/twin rim is the Advanti Racing Storm.
Goodwins have them available next month.

That's what I have ended up pre-ordering. These wheels are estimated at around 13lbs in 15x9, which is over 1kg lighter per corner than the C3M.

I was told by Brian himself from Goodwin Racing that he is not posting products to Aus. Where are you guys buying your wheels from?

Re: TRM C3M wheels
My wheels from Goodwin should be here next week. I used Shipporter (takes almost 2 months). I'll post up my experience soon.
http://www.priceusa.com.au/ - Fast shipping
http://www.shipporter.com/ - Slow shipping
Both websites have online calculators - you can either guestimate weights and sizes or contact Goodwin. Both services can also buy the products you want for a very small fee.
Good luck!

Ok, I didn't know any of that. Thanks for sharing.
Any rough idea how much it would cost to ship a set of wheels to Aus from the US.

Re: TRM C3M wheels
Why has nobody seriously considered c3m's is just becaus of it's weight or is there reliability issues with these?
I find it quite strange it not more popular so cheap at $115 a wheel and looks nice am I missing something?

Re: TRM C3M wheels
the shipping costs went up about two years ago.
i got my wheels from tirerack about two years ago and it cost me about $150 shipped to my door. they told me then it was the last time they can ship for that price because the day after i payed there was a price increase.
but the cheapest they will ship now is about $370 and thats US dollar.
there cool/cheap wheels but not with the AUS dollar and the price of shipping.

Re: TRM C3M wheels
Oops, forgot to reply. I paid $220USD to ship 4 wheels with Shipporter. But please wait until I receive them so I can confirm how good (hopefully) they are.
mr bender's right. With the USD where it is, it's starting to not really make sense or at least look as good.
I wanted something *different* so it was a no brainer for me.

http://www.usatoaus.com is the one i use.
VERY slow, but cheaper than some of the other options mentioned. A set of wheels costs $100 plus some duty/GST. But slooooooow (though it may depend on the port, and it certainly depends on if you get lucky with the next shipment).
EDIT: Remember also that this doesn't include domestic shipping within the US to get it to your freight forwarder...

How do the wheels get to the ship forwarder. Do they buy the wheels on your behalf as mentioned previously or do you get an address from them when purchasing from Goodwin and type in the ship forwarders address.

When you register for their service, they send you all the info. In short, when you buy the item you have them send it to their depot which is near Seattle, WA. You address it to yourself, care of usatoaus.com and include the name of your shipping port in the address line (eg. Joe Bloggs, SYDNEY c/- usatoaus.com). You then register the shipment with usatoaus.com and attach a copy of the purchase receipt for customs purposes. They let you know when it arrives at their depot, then when it is shipped. When it arrives in Australia, they email you with the final price (shipping plus duty/GST) and once you pay, you go and collect from the depot.
All very civilised, just slow as all heck.
