wipers stop halfway while driving

Postby GP14 » Thu Jan 23, 2014 6:28 pm

hey all. As the title suggests was driving in the rain and the wipers just stopped halfway, and of all places in my field of vision. Checked the fuse and that was ok. Replaced it with the spare anyway but no dice. Could my motor be fried? If so is there any way of testing this? Could anything else be wrong?

cheers

Had the same problem a while back and it ended up being a loose earth wire. I suggest you give that a quick look at.

earth wire is good. All I did was wound it down to horizontal with a spanner so I could at least see without a wiper in front of me, started car and it worked again.
