Are the SE front calipers, bar the colour, the same as other NBs. Are the pads interchangeable NB to NB SE

yep they are the same
if you are buying pads from the states, they had 2 different brake sizes for the NB8B.
you want the brakes from the sport model

as Regie said but the nb8a has a smaller caliper and pad than the nb8b and se
