Aircon compressor sticking?

Well, still having some trouble with my airconditioning on my NA turbo.

When I turn the aircon on and look under the bonnet, the aircon compressor seems to stick sometimes. It will turn a couple of times, then stop, then start again. Sometimes it wont start again and sometimes it keeps spinning as it should.

I sprayed a bit of WD40 on the actual compressor which seemed to work for now, but time will tell, Ill try it again tomorrow.

It doesnt seem to be a belt slipping, has anyone else come across this problem and if so, and ideas on fixing?

probably a dieing electro clutch inside the wheel. also probably worse now you sprayed a solvent onto/into the wheel innards that have lubricants inside.
