Yeah, full tonneau cockpit covers are scarce here I think mainly due to the price of them in the past, & I imagine currently. Seem to be much more common in the US, so may be Miata.net might have something on fitting them:

Above is for USDM MY1999, ie NB8A or P1 in VIN. With yours being a 2000 NB8 it could be either NB8A or NB8B. The NB8B has P2 in the VIN. The change in the ADM was at build date: Oct 2000. That said, there may have been a difference in USDM & ADM or there was a change from one model to the next.
