Sad News that Ivan Stibbard passed away today at 76. Ivan was a driving force in Australian Motorsport being the former boss of the Australian Racing Drivers Club (ARDC). Once one of the country’s most powerful Motorsport administrators, Ivan ran events at Amaroo Park Raceway and Bathurst. Highly respected by drivers and fellow Motorsport employees alike, Ivan was involved in Motorsport for over 30 years and will be greatly missed. RIP

Sad news......

Ivan will be missed, his work at the ARDC and the way he and the ARDC looked after the officials was one of the reasons I went to Bathurst for 10 years as a fire marshal and medical car driver until the V8's ran the show themselves.
