I'm looking to replace my mx5 car lights, especially the fog one(as one is blown)
Is this the correct bulb types for the NB mx5?
Low Beam = HB4
High Beam = HB3
Fog Light = H1
or is the Low Beam and High Beam ones, H4 and H3 respectively?
Thanks

What year NB?
Pre 2000 uses a single H4 with high/low filament.
And a T5 wedge for the parkers

Yes, low beams are HB4 with the right angle connector on the back. I use Narva +50's on my car.

bit late but always get the owners manual of the car - should be easy to source and that tells you vital info. As stated model is critical for many things. Another simple thing with bulbs is if a bulb is blown just remove it and take it to Bursons Repco etc for replacement. H4 incidentally are twin filament i.e. high and low beam and often were the only light source in headlamps though some were supplemented with another bulb which would be set aside for high beam. H1 got its name because it was the first iteration of a halogen bulb.

Lots of places don't carry the HB4 globes, and absolutely nobody carries the replacement car side connector (a dealer attempted to 'fix' my blown headlight issue by cutting the connector off and electrical taping the wires to the back of the globe )
