Thanks for the brief meet and brief cruise yesterday, apologies for leaving at the split up, it was difficult to not join either group and head back via Mtn Highway (passed a blue/dark colour NB on its way up) but I hope to join again and talk with you all more.

Crazy 42C cruise condition, certainly a first for me, I had the top on but A/C wins over fan forced oven... I guess  8)

(sorry to hear about the damn speedhumps)

We had a really good run, no traffic out, so it was quick  Got out to Emerald then back to Mt.Dandenong where we got a shock as the road we had come down on about 40 mins ago now had a big gumtree across it  (so that was a good enough excuse to go up and down again) so we did a bit of a detour as we headed back up the hill to the lookout carpark at 3 ways by around 9.30, none of the foodies showed but we hung around having a yarn till around 10.30 quite a few people driving around then.We got abused in the carpark by a women who asked for a light, we said none of us smoked,so she said what about the ciggy lighter,of which we said that our cars don't have ciggy lighters so she then told us in no uncertain terms that she owned about 300 acres around Mt.Dandenong and could buy ten cars like ours then gave us the finger and took off in her Magna. Maybe she should sell the Magna and buy a cigarette lighter
Going home down the hill out popped a possum and unfortunately decided to stop in the middle of the road so he had an early night but lucky for me no damage to the car.
All in all a good quick run, thanks for coming along for the ride fellas :)

Arty
You forgot about the guy who came up to us asking for chewing gum; you meet all sorts at a car-park that time of the night...
Great meeting you all
Cheers

I suppose it depends whether they have re opened.
Any news on an opening date for The Garage yet?
At this stage, I'm in where ever it's held.

Rodders, according to their FB page.. the anticipated completion date for work is 29/01/2014. So I reckon somewhere in February would be fair. Just a couple of weeks, and it should be good to go.

Called Embassy Café, they are open.
So the usual timing, guys?
