You will miss the refined feeling of the NB.

that was a good post from Nanotech- nicely put and he is right that personal preference is a big factor. Go to the top of the class.

Fixed that for you.Rasputin wrote:You will miss the boring feeling of the NB.

Actually one of the really big downsides of NAs is the absolute rarity of ABS. One of the most common moans among the NA track regulars is about the high costs of flat spotting tyres. I know of more than one case where someone has destroyed a new $1,200 set of tyres in a single braking miscalculation. If you're tracking a car often then over a few seasons then ABS alone can recover all the higher purchase costs of a late NB over a cheap NA.

It was an option on NBs, not standard.
As such, not all of them have it.
I've learnt something today

We have both NA6 and NBs, my personal preference is for the NBs but if I threw the same sort of cash/parts at an NA then it would be a tough decision to make. The NA has some classic character to it and the NB has much sexier lines both inside and out.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Sexier lines outside on a nb! What have you been smoking! The SE is the only nb that comes close to matching the lines of a NA.
