Splish splash dash

Hey people, just got the mx5 registered yesterday so have dríven it very little but when I do I can hear what sounds like liquid splashing around in the dash behind cluster area.
I def doesn't sound like water in the sills. Has anyone had this issue before?
I was wondering if it was something with the A/C but it sounds like a bit of water moving.
I haven't had any water drip down on feet either side. Is there any common problems like this? Is it worth checking out the A/C over flow? If so, where may they hang out on my vehicle?

Best advice that I can think of...
Get a large flat tip screw driver and make sure the pinch holes for your seal drains are not crushed together. They are forward of your doors at the bottom of the car near the jacking points.

Open them up and go for a drive . The water should come out.

Cheers for the tip. Will be doing that today. It could well be the sound traveling up to dash area. Very interesting sound to hear though

The wife freaked out.

Low coolant level / air sloshing around the heater core.
Make sure it's full and bleed the system.

Iv had this issue with my Subaru Liberty, its water sloshing around in the heater core behind the dash, take off the radiator cap (when cold) start the car and let it run until the thermostat opens. Having the heater on helps circulate the coolant through the entire system.

Water can also get trapped inside the doors if the drain holes are blocked by the door rubber when closed. Evidence after the fact is a tide mark on the door speaker paper.
