Depends on where you are and what you are looking for, how soon do you need them.

For Federal try http://racingready.com.au/v2/

For other brands try the motorsport dealer in your state for the tyre you want, though will generally be exxy.

If you are prepared to wait, tyre rack in the states have good prices as does demon tweeks in the UK, though shipping may not make the price difference worth it.

St George Tyres online have reasonably good prices for Toyos with delivery not too bad, search for them on ebay.

For Achilles tyres Option 1 Garage in Brisbane are the biggest distributor and will deliver at a good price.

You're NSW, right? Talebs and St George Tyres on ebay for Toyo and Nitto. Gordon Leven for Yokohamas and Bridgestones. Fsport for Kumhos.

Yokohama > Bridgestone > Kumho and Dunlop > Nitto > Toyo > Federal ... maybe

My Nitto NT01's from Taleb were not fresh stock the two times I have got them...I am not to fussed though as the price is right and they still grip up well.

If stored correctly, anything up to 2 years old before fitting shouldn't be a problem for what we do with our cars. The only worry would be if the carcass is showing signs of distress such as cracking.
