Have you seen this Crystal Blue MX5?

Back in 2007 I traded in a 2002 crystal blue MX5 at Nar Nar Goon Mazda in Melbourne. It was supposedly on sold to a local who was shifting from collecting / restoring MG's.

It since seems to have fallen off the face of the planet... Doesn't seem to be a club car or On car talk. I didn't even pass it in the following four years spent in Melbourne.

Wondering if anyone has seen it around or knows where it has ended up.

It stands out a little (as those in the NSW and VIC clubs would recall)

It had custom white and navy blue seats, fashion bars, clear indicators and was riding on NB8C wheels rather than the standard 8B ones.

No rotor, but there might be some potential for bite marks from this vicious looking character.

Just to reiterate, the crystal blue mx5 I am looking for is not the SP which is currently for sale (which we may have once made out my car to be).

No sightings?

Best colour ever on an MX5.
As for all that nonsense about the "only Crystal Blue SP", I keep telling you guys there are at least two.

Thanks PB. I only drive it once a week, but jeez I enjoy that drive.
No commuting for 'the princess', just 50ks of twisty smooth backroads.

I thought I had a sighting this morning on Vic Road and the Harbour Bridge. Alas - she hasn't relocated up North.

The driver actually reminded me of myself 12 years ago... I.e he had a full head of hair and was having fun!

Think he was confused as to why i was driving around a half washed NC. Radiant ebony at the back. Poo brown at the front.
