To those who doesn't know how to remove their IAC valve

Postby tescoking » Sat Dec 28, 2013 10:52 pm

This video is my first video, my English is not too good, please forgive me.
In the video I will show you how to remove your IAC valve, after hearing many people said it is welded or cannot be removed.

Well I decided to do this yesterday. I ended up rounding one of the screw heads (why are they phillips?!)
So I ended up taking the throttle body butterfly valve assembly off. That made life much easier!

So out came the trusty Dremel to "unround" that screw head.

Cleaned the butterfly valve while I was at it and I believe it made a difference.

Thanks for making this video Tesco.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
