It was a very memorable trip...purely automotive fun with a little bit of work thrown in.

Lots of memorable moments....here's a few snap shots.
A quick visit to say hi to Hori-san (Workshop Manager)...

An early morning stroll to Mazda's R&D Centre (Yokohama)

Checking out Vintage Yoshino's latest stock and restorations (Yokohama).

Nissan Global Headquarters (Yokohama)

2013 Tokyo Motorshow

One of the highlights was an impromptu road trip (in Hayato's RX-8 Taxi) up into the mountains of Okayama to finally meet the former President of the Cosmo Sport Owners Club of Japan, Matsuda-san. Hayato is a young Mazda engineer who like me has an undying passion for the rotary engine.

This is his L10B Cosmo Sport.

He and his wife also took us out to dinner at his favourite Chinese restaurant.

As you do when you're in Hiroshima (well it's what I do

One of the men who I owe my life's passion to.

A bit of inspiration for my build...

A quick run down to Kokura to inspect Automotive Plus' new storage facility.

Not a bad view from the facility...

Also dropped into....

Back to Hiroshima...

The breakfast of champions (Okonomiyaki)...

Up to Nagoya...

An unexpected visit to USS Tokyo auction house. The biggest in Japan - 10,000 cars auction in one day....mind you it's only once a week there though.

Some Euro-trash!

A little Mazda shrine I found at a Super-Autobacs in Ueda (Nagoya)

Of course the one and only Mt Fuji!

The good news is that there has been some excellent progress on the NC in the last few weeks. An update isn't too far away.
Cheers,
Danny
