If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

More shots of the wheels, I could look at them on a black car all day.

Is that the Moss Motors after market version of the fuel filler lid?
Like this one?

If it is, have you had a chance to compare the fit & finish with a genuine Mazda one (which most of the ones available seem to be), The Moss ones are certainly cheaper but I don't want to sacrifice quality.

Re: Okibi's SE
I've found the Mazda genuine to be superior to the Moss one, have had both.
Mazda one is heavier, but the chrome holds up better - and if you machine polish make sure you tape it up first, as the chrome doesn't take well to polish/heat on either version.
Sorry Okibi, you can answer the other part now!

Re: Okibi's SE
It's the Mazda one bought when I visited MX-5 Mania many many years ago.
I need to respray it, think I laid the clear coat on too quick and it's now got cracks in it.

It's time for some Xmas bling, and since you now got a few days on hand to do it, how about "bronzing-up" that Mazda emblem to match the rims?
If it sucks and you have pictures to prove it, I'll never speak of this again.

Gold/Bronze logos are more a Honda thing, and MX-5s get chopped by Hondas.

With my state-of-the-art computer-aided drawing tool, MS Paint, here's what it would look like:
- combine that with a black numberplate with bronze lettering and an orange/yellow film over the never-used foglights and I reckon it would look great.

Re: Okibi's SE
usdm? No rainbow licence plate surrounds or bullet holes for me.
Foglights will go when I have time to put my vents in.
Lokiel if you're really bored convince me which gauge setup to go with.
Was thinking DM-6 with Vacuum/Boost and Temperature modules.
