Have a look at this.

I use an Advanced Ice unit in my Subie and that works great. It controls the unit through the steering wheel and excellent sound quality. It does run through a Bit ten processor and a 5 channel amp though. Give FHRX a call. They are the experts.

I've got a unit from Dension. From memory it was between 150-200 but very happy with it. You can play music by connecting it through Bluetooth automatically when you get in the car, or by plugging it in with the cable, which results in slightly better quality and also charges the phone. Note you will need to buy the apple 30pin to lightning adapter or similar for the iPhone5.

You also get full control of music though the phone, radio buttons or steering wheel buttons when connected with cable or Bluetooth. It also comes with a microphone so you can make hands free Bluetooth calls also.

You will probably have similar results with other brands such as Grom and Icelink, but for reasons I can't remember I settled on the Dension when choosing mine.

I have the GROM unit which mine does Bluetooth, USB, iPod

My unit have very similar controls to how the one in the video that bear2230 has linked to

Works great and I notice GROM now have a newer version unit

GROM don't have a solution for the lightning cable yet and I believe they just suggest using the 30 pin to lightning adapter

Ended up doing it. Bought a facia + harness with patch lead.

Was a BITCH to install. Wasnt exactly plug and play. Needed to solder a cable... Works perfect though :)

Definitely a vote for the Grom unit - I have one, and it works as advertised.

There as some small technical glitches every now and then, but overall - I can stream BT audio and talk using iPhone 4s and 5s.

What kind of glitches are you have? I assuming you have an NC1?

If you are having any problem contact GROM themselves because I've found in the past they basically go out of there way to make sure you are 100% satisfied.

They sent me a firmwares for me to flash onto the unit until they came to a solution to my problems.
