MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB - Sliq's Run Up The Putty Road 19th Jan

Postby Regie » Mon Dec 02, 2013 7:45 pm

Image

Date: Sun 19 January 2014
Meet: McGraths Hill McDonalds corner of Windsor and Groves Roads McGraths Hill
Time: 6:00am for 6:30am Departure
Organiser: Victor Lee

This drive is a standing tradition for the BreakFast Club to kick-start our events every year. Originally created by a forum-mate ‘Sliq’ (Michael) and later inherited by ‘BadBong’ (Victor), this classic drive up the Putty Road to the Lower Hunter includes the challenging gorges before Milbrodale then across to the vineyards around Pokolbin via Broke for breakfast.
This year however, we will venture a bit further and head towards Café Wollombi for breakfast.
After breakfast you can either head back to Sydney quick smart via the freeway or travel along the Old Pacific Highway on a scenic route.

RSVP: No registration required but you are asked to express you intention of joining the run by emailing breakfast@mx5.com.au OR placing your name on the forum, to assist the organiser in café bookings.

I hate it when I'm right..... :(

Work's changed my job tomorrow and I won't be finishing until near midnight, so unfortunately I'm going to have to bail out this time.....
