The guys at Silhouette are a friendly & helpful bunch plus there is a kart place a few minutes down the road in Cooper St. between Sydney Rd. & High St. on the right hand side

A 32mm Top Kart will be a better choice. If it is a reasonably current chassis, it should have 25mm stubs up front with bolt on hubs, and a 50mm axle. This chassis will be much better suited to a TAG-R engine and MG Reds, which is a great place to start karting (either socially or in the AKA).

I personally am not a huge fan of the Top Kart brand but to start out, it will do fine.

It all boils down to $$$ i used to race Arrow Karts, there are a few for sale on ebay in Melbourne
Or have a look at Silhouette's own karts (Race Karts not hire)
