That being said about coffee... If anyone knows a place that meets the rest of the requirements but also makes Iced Milk Teas as good as GC did, that's where my vote goes... I missed them sooooo much!!!!

Its 20km away from the Melbourne GPO.
If you are that enamoured with the pancake parlour, may I suggest the one at Highpoint (101/120-200 Rosamond Road, Maribyrnong), which is only 10km away from the GPO?
And there heaps of coffee shops and bubble cup places there too.
All jokes aside, the PP is just too frikkin expensive for me. And we are too far away from the cars.

I love Java, it is my regular haunt. I get freebies. I like the outdoor area.
But the hot food is average (the cakes are great though) and parking on a Thursday night is an issue before 9pm.
Embassy really ticks all the boxes (close to GPO, cheap, open late/24hrs, ok parking) but, unlike meanmx, shuey and Deniz, perving on taxi drivers is not my cup of tea......

Nothing wrong with perving on taxi drivers.....oh wait...

Skyhigh would be a good place to drive to during the day on one of the weekends. We should organise it before the weather get's too hot to bear for those without air-cons (ie. me ;)).

Mick and all,
There is a Car Rally out of Bendigo at 11.00am on Sunday, leaving the Kangaroo Flat Homemakers Centre and landing at The Kangaroo Hotel Maldon for lunch and a Show and Shine. Live Music, lunch etc $20.00, bring a wrapped gift to support Project Hope. This would make a nice Caf'e group run.
Thanks for looking.
Greg.
P.S. There is a second group leaving from the Castlemaine Railway Station at 11.00.
When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?

There's 2 big car shows on this Sunday unfortunately. Established is doing a rebuild car show to raise money for the Philippines and Toyota car club has their classics car show on. Think I will probably be at the Established event.

Hi Mick,
I forgot to mention that the Farmers and Artists Markets are on in Castlemaine as well as an exhibition of local artists works at the Market building.
