that was in 2009 though.

keep in mind that replacement rotors are hidiously expensive.

sorry found them online for 217 pounds each. thats still a lot.

i have not had to replace them just yet, machine once.

the 6 piston Yellowspeed are interseting. Does anyone here run them with 949 wheels? specifically 15x8?

I have run them with 6UL's 15 x 8. There are 3 sizes in the Yellowspeeds. One for 15's, 16's & 17's

Yellowspeed brakes were on the car that won the recent Winton 300 and it was turbo charged. So they can't be half bad. I'd buy them if I could afford a brake upgrade.

this is the ap kit i have, note it says 16 inch wheels but i have this exact kit under 15's.

i have decided i will give the Yellowspeed 6 pistons a try, thanks MrsB. What pads do you use for your race cars? My car is predominantly a track car and have used Hawk Blues in the past but would be interested to hear what you run

the 286x26 rotor with 4 pot would be ample for most applications. just think on whether you really need 6 pot or larger diamter.

i think they will, 4 and 6 piston are listed as fitting 15's. Mania said they will and MrsB runs the same wheels as me and has confirmed they fit

Hey Chops,

I'd be really interested in your evaluation on the Yellowspeeds when you get them on.

My car is also a race car running Hawk Blues on SE rotors and calipers. In other words standard brakes from a newer model than my car. I don't have any complaints with the braking at the moment but I am wondering how much better the brakes can get. Your input would be appreciated.

i am pretty interested to see what they can do

i had run the Wilwood's for a few years but after a pretty significant engine rebuild and upgrade they immediately felt like the weak link. I have taken more than 2 seconds out of my previous best time at Wakefield with my new setup and feel more time to be gained under braking. ordered them yesterday and will be here in about 2 weeks but my first run on them probably won't be until the first club day next year

Which 15s? one of my mates couldn't fit them under his 15s.
