Welcome!
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Welcome If shes 100% stock and in fantastic condition keep her stock and keep her value  Stock cars always sell for more and sell faster Personalty I would start with a good set of tyres and slash out on a good set of brake pads. A CIA is noisy as hell and takes away the enjoyment

Or customise her to suit you and what you enjoy doing. Resale value could be lower but happiness will be higher.

drive the car for a while -unless you have owned one before it takes time to get to know its character. I essentially agree with Lizard- too many mods spoils the car often lowers its value and limits its appeal but others see it differently. Personally I do like a sporty note in an open car but its not something that needs to be done straightaway and I would never bother with an CAI.

AEM CAI+BoostGauge+MBC@9PSI will net you 135rwkw, put a big smile on your face and is the biggest bang-for-buck power mod you can do on SEs.
Larger 2.5" or 3" will give you another 10rwkw but cost you a shedload more.

Agree with Okibi and Lokiel. Although once you've done the CAI, MBC and exhaust you'll be fighting the stock ecu. Looking back and knowing what I know now I really wish I'd done the ecu 1st! Won't give you the same bang for your buck initially but you'll be much happier down the track if you do. I'm sure others will agree with me on that one.

Have a chat to Dan at www.roadtrackrally.com.au, both Daz n Dan are MX-5 fans and should be able to offer some good advice.
