Two of my previous 5s passed Vic road worthy with normal (non-venting) batteries installed. Replaced both of them first chance I had.

Another option is a Delkor 22NF-330D, with has a vent hole. I recently picked up one from www.batteryguru.com.au for $136 They have a business Braeside (Melb).

Thanks for the clarification.

Picked up a Supercharge Gold MF43 and had it fitted with some vent tubes etc.
Basically would do the same job as the Delkor I believe.

$135 walk-in walk-out.

My only comment is that in the NB, the MF43 sits slightly higher so the floor piece ends up being raised slightly.

Accidentally left hazards on for an hour last night and no start this morning, can someone post a pic of the breather mod to the supercharge battery please.

No pics of the battery, but if your battery was fine prior to leaving the lights on why not just jump/push start the car and re-charge it?
