sorry for being narky, but you are shitting on the single best build thread in the history of this forum.

no matter which way you argue it just makes you look like the guy who couldn't, wouldn't and shouldn't do something like this.

you sir are truly not worthy.

back to OP, mods please delete all that isn't awesome.

The last thing done this week was the removal of the windscreen wiper motor assembly that once resided here. There's a couple of kg's in that!

I can't help but think you may regret that decision one day when it's raining at the track - I know that Charlie wished he still had his on at least one occasion.

Love the build despite the fact that it makes my DIY stuff look like a complete hack (I guess I can always aspire to "lift my game").

Also to the naysayers, who needs a valid reason, or for it to make sense, it's a hobby/passion.

I can tell you now Simon, there is no way in the world I will be driving this thing at any speed if there is any inclement weather within cooee of the race track (especially Lakeside)! I've got no problem pulling up stumps if rain was to come in during a track event. I've done plenty of wet weather events over the years and honestly I find drifting fun for the first session or so and then I get bored. Anyway all my other cars have got windscreen wipers, so this one will be unique!

Cheers,
Danny

Problem solved

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

If you're a Postman - you post letters!
If you're a bean counter - you count beans!
If you're a Mechanical Engineer half the fun of it is in the design and the build

To draw a loose analogy, 'zoom zoom' built his NA to the way he wanted - result? Lakeside last Monday with a 57.44!! Anyone who can't comprehend this time check thru Natsoft for Lakeside and just see what cars can even come close to that time!

Keep it up Danny, I'm lovin' it - makes me stop counting beans!

You have a few weeks to catch up on!

Hope your trip was great. Looked fantastic on FB.
