Thanks man! Yeah original design was a bit better but then i took weight and time into consideration and i had to dial it back a bit.

Yes the lights are insanely bright, i didn't think they would be as bright as they are when i bought them, so happy though, will probably run some smaller, more suitable ones on it while i don't plan on doing road trips haha.

that looks very neat - very integrated look- to me and at the right height. Any quality driving light of that size will present a long range light. They are will be very good on B roads in the country but you will find almost no opportunity to use them in suburbia though sometimes on split highways with light traffic they can be useful. Hopefully they will not vibrate - its quite common for large lamps to have a anti shake bracket. Insofar as smaller units thats very doable and easy- you have the bar in place and can use the smaller lights as an addition to high beam.

Good alternative. TRs also sell these in RHD beam patterns. I have retrofitted my forester with bi x projectors (FXR) from them and they are sweet.

My advice is Don't skimp on projectors or bulbs and don't go above 4300 K colour temp.

I used phillips bulbs in FXR projectors with morimoto 3five ballasts.

You won't have to mess around with lights as much as I had to in the Foz, it was a cunuva job.

They look so sick man that's actually done so well and looks OEM as F*k, yeah for the headlights i will be using quality stuff, but i'm leaving them for a bit since they cost quite a bit and just fixing the rest of the car up with LED's for now, once i finish replacing a couple of other expensive things i will straight onto the headlights :) thanks for the insight though and i have saved that link as it looks like a very interesting and helpful to making these headlights worth using haha

credit where due man, its obvious you put a lot of time and effort into them and they look and like they are better than anything that you could buy, i'll report back when i have started my conversion :)
