Have done a couple of things to the MX5 since picking up the car. This has included touching up some of the paint defects on the car, H&R lowering springs, Watanabe 15 inch rims, Pirelli P7s and and a Moto Lita wood steering wheel. I have also changed the tombstone and the centre console as those items were cracking.
A couple more parts are on their way for the interior and the exterior.

Re: Harold996tt 1991 British racing green
Also purchased a McIntosh stereo from an old Subaru Legacy as I felt it really lends itself nicely to the retro look of the car that I am aiming for. Unfortunately the amplifier does not work and needs to be serviced. Not quite double din size so had to add a bit of black trim to the centre tombstone to fill the gap. This is the unit being installed:

Couple more updates, some goodies from RS Products finally installed... And the stereo finally works too!
Have also ordered some nakamae door panels for my stainless speaker kick plates with leather door straps and a leather dash top to cover the cracked original dash. Also have yet to install the RS Products retro centre console that arrives.
After this will have to save for some more retro wheels... Have my targets set for some SSR Mk 2s with good inserts. This car is going retro... Just like my age...

Looking great, I can guess who's green NA was parked at UWA all those years ago.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Haha thanks very much mate. Amazing how life goes full circle. But at least now I have the cash to indulge my inner child and customise it.

Didn't know they went to 100% over 9 years though. I used to drive at Pasir Gudang and Sepang. Also had a couple of drives at Batu Tiga before they closed it...I reckon that was most fun.
You guys still shoot through Johor? Not sure if you know of the attempted kidnapping / shooting of Frank Choo at Gelang Patah about 10 years ago?
Sorry just saw this post. Yes mate, I know frank and his brother. Was a sad incident with a lot speculation as to who did it. I never go through JB and always run straight to KL for Sepang only. You still in Singapore? We should catch up some time.

The RS Products and Nakamae gear is eye-wateringly expensive but it really looks the goods. This is definitely coming together nicely.
