My carpet underlay is all mouldy and gross from a block soft top drain hole. I've ripped it all out and now its just carpet by itself.
Where can I source some replacement? Does necessarily have to be underlay, whatever works as a noise/heat dampening material yet still be heat proof from the tranny tunnel.
I'm assuming normal house carpet underlay won't hold up very well with the heat coming off the tunnel?

Or if you've got the money, Dynamat comes highly recommended from a few pals, it may even be bit more waterproof than regular underlay should you ever get another leak or overflow.
