Won't make it to Lakeside.

The intake goes through the hole in the skirt where the intercooler pipes used to go....plenty of room with no headlight there.

Car is at Mania...Dave plugged in his laptop and did some magic and the car started and runs....sounds really good.

It's back from Mania and just about ready to go, really nice work by the MX5 mania team sorting out a new exhaust system to hook up to the Maxim works extractors, and tuning the Adaptronic.

Has about 125rwkw, will be on the track in the next few weeks.

Morgan Park 1 hour in Sept.will be the first race meeting then the 1 hour at Phillip Island in November, have a special guest co-driver who owns more MX5s than I do...

After that the engine will be coming out and fitted in to the new NB8B racer.

125rwkw is a pretty huge figure, whats the specs on the top end and the comp ratio on it?

It's got a SE cam cover. That's gotta be 6 killer wasps in itself.

One assumes manias dyno, which accounts for 10 odd rwKW. But its still damned impressive.

SE cam cover  I heard the standard ones are lighter, I could send you an NB8A one and some cash as a swap.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Hey Lou,
Looking GOOOOOOOOD.
Hopefully it'll be nearly as quick as the turbo.

See ya at Morgan Park. (but I'll be at the back of the grid)

Pistons are 11.1 so with head work it will be a bit higher.

I guess dyno figures dont mean that much till you get it on the track.

Dave I like the SE cam cover too much but if I ever sell it I'll let you know.

Terry I'll give you a wave when I'm going past...

Has been quite a while since the last update, ran it a year ago at winton, did a 1.36.0 on treads, car was sensational...since then it has sat in the shed, stripped it out, now fitted with NB8C electricals, ABS, stock SVT ENGINE, 5 speed, now set up in enduro mode... Running at Winton 300 next weekend, it's for sale after that meeting.
