I should be able to get some telemetry from the Ginetta from last year, but we never raced it at Lakeside, so meh. We used the data to compare ourselves to each other and to gun drivers who had dríven the car. It's a humbling experience indeed to have your data placed over the top of a V8 supercar driver's. I was on the brakes places they are still at full throttle. :D T1 at Eastern Creek for example. I'd brush the brake pedal, turn in (still in 6th) slowly feeding the power back in until the apex when it would be at the floor. Jack Perkins hits the corner without backing off at all.

Whilst not in the same league as yourself Cal I had a humbling experience in my NA6 when I lent it to a decent driver. The good part was getting his data and overlaying it on to mine, highlights where your mistakes are :)

However some people are happy to not find out the truth.

Or spend that much on data logging! :D

No need for any of that Magpie, a simple check of the undies colour should suffice!

Graphing skid marks, nice.

Plohl, that almost hurt :) However data logging is cheaper in the long run especially when combined with one on one coaching and the coach doing a few laps in your car with you in the other side.

Haha, no offense intended.

A ginetta comes with an m800 and race dash. I am sure you're aware of their costs. And I suppose what data you're logging depends on costs.

Budget logging ftw! Android phone and an $80 bluetooth GPS, all you need. At least, until you start to not suck. Then you look for time properly. I'm not there yet :(

I hear it's illegal to have race numbers on a road car.

Who/what is your source? I wouldn't do it because it could attract unwanted attention from all the wrong people.

Around 6.15 - 6.30

Race numbers are not illegal on cars dríven on public roads, Porsche actually sell some with numbers as do Mini, in NSW they have to have a diagonal line thru them or removed
