AUDM foglight wiring diagram

Postby Mr nanotech » Mon Feb 06, 2012 11:51 pm

I'll be short and sweet.

I have Eunos foggies on my Aus delivered NA6. They are plugged into the 'factory loom' but this is a piggy back to headlights on Aus delivered model cars and is on the passenger side of the engine bay rather than the driver side like the Eunos.
I also have the switch which lights up but is not actually connected to anything other than the light at the back.

What I need is a wiring diagram or something so i can actually run these off the switch. I think I also need a fuse for this too? If someone has retrofitted Eunos Roadster foggies into their na6 using the factory switch, I'd like it if you could tell me how you did it as the factory wiring plug on the Aus cars will not allow the switch to be used.

Tried searching and couldn't find anything online so I figured I'd try my luck here before consulting Miata net. If there is a way to plug these in and wire it using oem stuff then let me know, otherwise I'll have to muck around and diy it.

Hi Josh,
E-mail me and I will send a wiring diagram and some notes.
Greg.

Hi, sorry to revive an old thread but I have the same problem with the factory fog lights. I have them connected to the plug on the passenger side and have the fog light switch in the dash but part of the circuit must be missing. I'm guessing I need to connect the missing fog light fuse in the engine bay fuse box to somewhere.

I didn't bother with the factory plug in the engine bay, when I plugged it in I got the same result as you. I bought the Narva foglight wiring harness from supercheap, wired it up to look OEM and plugged it into the factory switch.

Yeah I ended up wiring it up myself, making it look oem by going through the fuse box. Still curious as to how the factory loom is supposed to work with it. Traced the white wire in the plug and it ends up on another bigger 6 pin one a bit further back next to the firewall right next to another 6 pin plug. No idea what those are for.
