Hey guys,
so the car that I bought came with a chrome style bar but it is partially rusted. I want to remove it while waiting for the tall-boy (approx 1 month time)
As far as I can tell, there are 4 bolts holding it in place I get to remove 3 of them but one of it just doesn't seem to be possible to unscrew, I've been turning it with a spanner over and over again and it looks the same!
This is the one that I was talking about
So then I decided to screw everything back in for the time being and then it came to my surprise, one of the driver's side bolt wouldn't screw in!
I got this picture from the net but my bar looks exactly like this
On a side note, how I do remove the antenna? I tried rotating it but it won't budge
Help with removing chrome style bar!!!

Re: Help with removing chrome style bar!!!
all of those bolts should just unscrew.
if its just spinning, its probably threaded.
aerial removal takes a couple of steps.
The long silver stalk unscrews, you can use a spanner.
then there is a slit in the black top piece, you can use a 20c coin to unscrew it.
then there is a bolt in the boot, once that is removed the arial can be pulled down from the hole and taken out of the boot.

Re: Help with removing chrome style bar!!!
My style bar had 2 bolts on the top each side as well as one on the side each side. All these need to be accessed from behind so you will need to remove your trim and the seatbelt reel and get a tool in from behind the bolt

As MeanMX said, remove the seat belt roll and get the appropriate tool up underneath it. There will be a nut there that's just free spinning.
Took me forever to figure out when I went to remove mine.
