Hi all
I pulled my aircon a while ago but still have both fans on the radiator.
Which fan is the aircon fan - drivers side or passenger side?
Also what is the easiest way to trip the engine cooling fan to come on? It doesnt seem to come on even after a long drive.
Cheers

Re: Cooling fans
Drivers side is AC, but confirm by letting engine warm up and look at which fan is spinning.
The later NB8 models do take a while to come on... it will, it may take 10 mins of fast running (2000rpm) when sitting still. I would not want to trip it as you're not doing a good test of the system - you want to see it come on after running idle/fast for 10 mins as you then know it is working ok.

Re: Cooling fans
As above, if the car is moving it's not likely to set the fan off.
Is there a reason to remove the a/c fan? I would have thought it's nice to leave there for some extra cooling if it's ever a really warm day. The A/c switch will become a manual fan switch.

Re: Cooling fans
Thanks guys - i like the idea of keeping the ac fan and switching it on/off with the ac button but it doesnt work for some reason anymore so will just pull it out.
