Umm that yellow NC is an interesting looking "Malibu" lol they were NA6 models.

The NC is a completely different car to the NA/NB so lumping them all into one review is just wrong. I even consider the 1.6 and 1.8L NAs different cars since the engine changes the car's personality (one loves to rev freely, the other not so much but has more torque).
We here all know they're great little cars though.

The great thing about a sports car line that goes on for many generations is that there is a real spread of 'choice' for buyers.
You can pick the model that best sums up your ideas of what the sports car is about.
The challenge for the Makers is to stay true to the 'concept' and resist the temptation to escalate the key dimensions - incl. engine - until it bears no resemblance to the original that everybody loved so much.
I always think of the 240Z - which I still think was one of the best sports coupes ever - and what happened as it became the 280Z and then the 300ZX. But of course in its current form it is trim taut and terriffic again. It would have been great to have a few faithful developments of the S2000. I regret not owning one of these.

Maybe some comparisons only come from ownership and/or more experience with the cars.
Having sold my NA6 and dríven my NB8A for several months, I only now fully appreciate the merits and excitement of the stock 1.6 engine that is lacking in the 1.8 ... (of course, a few engine mods should improve that over time
). As far as the "whole" car goes, including looks, I personally have always preferred the NB.Who is online
