Rough idle with aircon on

It is a new issue so i believe i start a new thread, correct me if i am wrong.

So i just installed an ASI 52mm Radiator in my NA6 and now it seems to run good with the aircon off (had a good run up nebo and no overheating stayed on just a tad over halfway going up the mountain). but when i turn the aircon on it has a couple of issues i have noticed 1. the car begins to get very warm, not overheating but gets till about 3/4 on the gauge and stays about there. and 2. the idle is very very rough it goes up till about 1.5k-2k and drops down to normal and keeps doing that endlessly it seems. both of these problems are resolved as soon as the aircon is turned off. what could cause this? a not well bleed system??

Turning the air con should turn on the second fan and cool not heat. Is the second fan coming on when you turn the air con on?

Yes the fan comes on, if i had wired it up incorrectly so the fan was spinning the wrong way could it have this effect?

The fans pull the air through the radiator so if you put your hand behind the fans you should feel it blowing on them. If the fan was spinning the wrong way then yes this could be the source of the problem as it is trying to push air through the radiator. I can't help with the rev issue however Gladiator is having similar ones

when i put the wires together to test if it was pulling the air through it was good but i guess i got it mixed up somehow down the track and swapped them by mistake. i'm putting it back the right way now and will come back with results

Seems to not get hot with the the aircon on anymore, i'm guessing the rough idling is due to air still being in the system? and will go away when it's completely full?

Air shouldn't change the idle at all.

You can run an engine with no coolant and it will idle fine (in this situation though it will overheat really quickly)

When the aircon is turned on the car should be trying to idle a little higher than usual to take up the extra load of the compressor.
When the A/c is on does the idle speed drop? or stay the same?

It goes up to about 2k then drops back down and does it continously, i have a video ill upload when i get home this afternoon

Just a thought, could be a vacuum leak.

After my 52mm radiator install, my car rattles when I turn the aircon on. From memory the aircon line that runs under the radiator, I couldn't put one of the brakets that hold it in place back. I'm guessing this is what is rattling around in my car is.

Yes i had this same issue with mine, it was easy to bend the pipes away from the pulley until i get a proper bracket, you just need to get a piece of steel shaped to an 'L' to replace the existing bracket, quick and easy and just stops any movement in the lines
