Not really an ultimate engine but since owning the rs clio I always wonder how nice jusf have a stock F4R from a 200 in a NA.
200hp with loads of low end and a 7500 rev cut.

Not so much an Ultimate Engine but something that would be interesting and a lot of fun...

The Engine from the Suzuki C2 Concept Car back in the late 90's.

1600cc twin turbo v8 making 250hp? lol

what a waste of time
you'd think that maybe it had a huge redline but it's 7000rpm.

A guy on another forum is eventually going to build up his 2.7L alloy v6 from a suzuki vitara for one of his cars.
computer simulations show over 300hp and 8500rpm redline.
Would be intradasting.

A fully forged turbo BP engine is all an MX-5 could ever need!

That or an all motor 13B/20B/26B... >.<

Then there's the 2.0 4 pot out of the new Mercedes A45 A-Class, 265kW/450Nm, which must make it a pretty scary inner city shopping car. Power output per litre is second only to Maclaren in production cars. Slight problem with availability since there's a 9 month queue to even buy the car in Oz now.

i went and checked one out the other day and its a 12 month wait now.

it looks mean in person and sounds pretty good with the sports button pushed.

pops like a little rally car, only with more power.
