Even then, things can go wrong, I hit a wet white line when I was racing my bike on a out lap, happen so quick, I went down quicker than a two dollar hooker. I was very lucky to walk away.
Example, someone dropping oil on the track..... I.M.O. I never take anything on the track I can't walk away from. just my 2 cents
